Abandoned quilt lands in caring hands

A story in May 2 issue of The Caprock Courier hinted that a happy home was in sight for an old abandoned friendship quilt — one with connections to Turkey, Texas. For readers who missed the first part of this story, a summary: Sheila Smith of Lubbock came into possession of the quilt when she and her husband, Shane Smith, bought a house in Levelland.
