GUTHRIE ADVANCES The Guthrie company of “The Beggar’s Opera”competed at the Area One Act Play Meet in Post Saturday. Six schools had advanced to the Area competition, including Guthrie, Jayton, Borden County, Sands, Meadow and Grady. A panel of three judges viewed all six productions, and only Guthrie, Sands and Grady advanced. Jayton was selected as alternate.The Regional competition will be April 27 at Frenship.
