Panhandle Grape and Wine Tour set Saturday, Oct. 21 in Amarillo

Body The Panhandle Grape and Wine Tour, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Potter and Randall counties, will be from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 21 and include visits to two vineyards.

Marker replacement approved; funds needed

Body The Texas Historical Commission Marker Division has reviewed and approved an application for the replacement of the Matador Ranch marker destroyed in the June 21, 2023, tornado at Matador. The total cost of the marker is $2,400 which is due by November 15.

Body The Motley County Library will host its annual Pumpkin Party on Tuesday, Oct. 24, to begin right after school. All kids ages 3-12 are invited to come enjoy the fun. There will be pumpkin decorating, treats and a storytime.
