Matador’s Foothills Celebration set for this Saturday

Silverton to honor local vets with flag program Nov. 9

Body Silverton School plans to honor local veterans with a Field of Flags display of the United States of America flag, according to a school press release. Community members are invited to submit veteran names by completing a form and submitting a $10 payment.

Body After a day of competing in the Silver Spur Cross Country meet in Spur Oct. 11, Guthrie and Paducah cross country runners, along with coaches and parents, stopped in at TC’s Ponderosa in Dickens for a bite of barbecue before their homeward journey.
