Silverton FBC collects items for Operation Christmas Child

Body First Baptist Church of Silverton will once again accept donations of new toys or gifts to be shipped to needy children—or love offerings to purchase items or support the cost of postage. According to the church’s newsletter, the goal is to send at least 50 boxes overseas.

Body The Paducah city pool committee is hoping to “make a splash” with its upcoming fundraiser event on Friday, Dec. 4. The group will hold a chili cookoff and pie contest at the high school cafeteria starting at 4 p.m. (doors will open at 2 p.m. for a silent auction).
