Valley names Elliott superintendent finalist

Body Turkey– Quitaque Independent School District announced June 1 that Adam Elliott has been selected as the finalist in the search for the 2025-26 superintendent. The action was taken at a special called meeting of the board of trustees held on Sunday, June 1.

Body We girls started sewing on Wanda’s very pretty quilt and we had a good visit while we worked. Wanda always has a nice quilt to work on and we enjoy visiting while we sew. We break for coffee at mid-morning and that gets us going.

We The Women host Quitaque Clean-Up Day

Body We The Women, a volunteer community group in Quitaque, will be hosting a Main Street clean-up day on Saturday, June 7. In preparation for summer visitors, the group is working hard to make Quitaque sparkle.
