Body Hotel Turkey is saddling up for their First Annual Caprock Cowboy Fandango, taking place Feb. 28 through March 2. They are claiming the weekend to be “full of all things western and cowboy” with a full lineup of musicians as well as a western art exhibit for viewing and shopping.

Body Barley is a chewy, nutty grain that reminds me of my childhood. I recall sitting at my grandmother’s table with a bowl of vegetable soup dotted with pearl barley. It gave the soup substance and texture, not to mention fiber and nutrition.
