Semi hauling ‘butt’-er lays over in Briscoe County

Body Wednesday afternoon, on Jan. 15 around 4:00 p.m., an 18-wheeler traveling through the steep curves of State Highway 256 just East of the roadside park in Briscoe County turned over, blocking both lanes of traffic.

Why the power outages?

Body Residents across the Caprock region have experienced multiple “scheduled power outages” over the course of the last year. AEP Texas dutifully informed customers of the planned outages, but many have asked the question, Why were they required in the first place?
