Body There were four of us at quilting Thursday and we always have a good visit. We decided to go to the Ghost Horse Gallery when we got tired, and we got to get refreshed with ice cream and tea. We really enjoyed visiting there with everyone there.

Body Mini cheer camp Motley County ISD will be hosting a mini-cheer camp this summer, August 9–11 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Motley County Gym. The camp is open to 3rd through 5th grades. The cost is $25 (due by July 28 to the school front office).

Body Two days after his 17th birthday, my uncle Bert Johnson joined the Marine Corps. After boot camp, Bert was sent to Korea, where he became friends with Eugene Obregon. The two young men came from entirely different backgrounds but were the same age.
