Body The 2024 Motley CountyJuniorLivestock Show is coming up in Matador this Friday and Saturday, January 19-20. The event will be held at the Motley County ISD Bus Barn and is open to the public. This year’s show has roughly 41 children participating, 2nd grade through 12th.

Body January might not seem the most ideal time for a road trip around several West Texas counties— but last Wednesday and Thursday turned out to be gorgeous days to visit some of our rural communities, before the big chill took the mercury down to single digits.

Body Grain bowls are a powerful way to build a nutritious meal all in one dish. One typically consists of a few veggies, a grain, and a protein. I like a leafy green veggie to get the bowl started. The grains I often use are rice, barley or quinoa.
