Body The Motley Lady Mats travelled to Klondike last Saturday, Nov. 15, for a basketball matchup after a late night of football playoffs, losing 22-70.Matador was to host Crowell at home on Tuesday, Nov. 18, however the scores were not available by press time.

Body The Valley Lady Patriots travelled to Spur Thursday, Friday and Saturday last week, amongst all the football playoff shenanigans, to secure three wins and only one loss in the Queen of the Court tournament.

Body The Guthrie Jaguars fell 6-56 to the #1 Jayton Jaybirds in the Bi-District playoff game last Thursday, Nov. 13 in Knox City.Jaguar Senior Kaleb Green was awarded the Texas 1A Fan helmet sticker for his exceptional performance during the game.

Body Silverton’s Lady Owls have opened their basketball season, traveling to Guthrie to take on the Lady Jags last Friday, Nov. 7. The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) has the Lady Owls picked fourth in their district.The Lady Owls slipped by the Lady Jags, winning 40-36.
