Body Silverton’s Lady Owls have opened their basketball season, traveling to Guthrie to take on the Lady Jags last Friday, Nov. 7. The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) has the Lady Owls picked fourth in their district.

Motley FFA earns honors at Greenbelt contest

Body 31 students represented Motley County FFA at the Greenbelt District Leadership Development contest earlier this week.In Senior Chapter Conducting, the team won 1st place and will be advancing to area.

Body The Motley County Matadors are the UIL District 2 champions in high school football at the conclusion of this season, winning the district 3-0. Losing only once their entire season by nine points to the Sands Mustangs, the Matadors are ranked the Class 1A Division 2 #7 team.
