May 17th, 1973: Debra Ann Cantwell is Valedictorian of the Class of 1973 with a grade average of 95.85. Laura Juanice Arnold is Salutatorian with scholastic average of 95.80.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day and the children gave their moms a hug and kiss. We look back and treasure the time we had with our mothers. Silverton lost one of its senior citizens, Laretha Rhoderick, last week, and we are very sad for the loss of a very nice person.

Motley County Senior Citizens Center Menu

The Motley County Senior Citizens is open to serve meals inside or for carry out from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every weekday. Seating inside the center has been arranged to meet safety guidelines for dining 6 feet apart. Meal delivery is also available for seniors in Matador and Roaring Springs.
