FLOODINGINROARINGSPRINGS Asaseriesofstrongthunderstormsmovedthroughthe area Sunday evening, May 25, the Roaring Springs Ranch Club received 4 inches of rain in about an hour, and precipitation continued throughout Sunday night. As of Monday morning, the club’s Snack Shop was closed due to excessive rain, and the golf course was under water as well. Many of the club’s roads were washed out and were extremely muddy on Monday. Memorial Day floods at the Springs

Body Memorial Day campers and visitors to the Roaring Springs Ranch Club got a front row view of the town name’s sake “Roaring Springs” when a storm dumped four inches of rain over the ranch in an hour’s time, raising the water level of the Tongue River almost immediately.
