Body The Patriots and Lady Patriots opened district play as they travelled to Patton Springs Tuesday, Dec. 7. The Lady Patriots tipped off first, setting the tone for the night as they rolled over the Lady Rangers 70-29.

Body The Owls and Lady Owls traveled to White Deer on Monday, Dec. 30, for one last matchup before the new year. Both teams were met with almost identical fate, as the girls were defeated 25-55 and the boys were defeated 28-50.

Body Guthrie head coach Doug Hunt’s team took care of business in a big way last Friday night. In the team’s first District 8-A game, the Lady Jags had no trouble with Patton Springs in the 72-21 blowout.

Body Paducah will tipoff at home Friday against Guthrie in District 8-A play.The Lady Dragons, who fell to # 3-ranked Valley last week, have the tough task of now facing an 18-3 Lady Jags team. Game time is set for 7 p.m., with the boys game following.
