Body B-r-r-r! Mr. Jack Frost came and brought some pretty cold weather with a cold freeze that chilled our bones. There was just a bit of moisture with some mist and maybe a flake of snow. Thankfully it didn’t last, but a couple of days before gradually warming up.

SILVERTON AT STATE At the State Cross Country Meet last week in Round Rock, Silverton’s Melody Rampley finished 29th, and Alex Acevedo finished 22nd. This was Rampley’s second year as a state qualifier, and Acevedo qualified all four years in high school. | COURTESY PHOTO
