As with many of you, Sunday school and Wednesday night children’s Bible classes always included the creation story. The figures placed on a felt board, the cutouts, and the coloring pages were mainstays of those 45-minute gatherings.

Kelly Draper of Llano is a retired professor of puppetry at Lamar University in Beaumont. He performed with his puppets at symphony orchestra concerts all over the country, illustrating the music to children. He did a puppet show several years at Dickens on the Strand in Galveston.
