Roaring Springs Lions to change up meeting date, place

Body Wes Campbell, the Roaring Springs Lions Club will now be meeting for lunch and business monthly at the Motley County Senior Citizens Building, 621 Stewart Ave, Matador, TX 79244. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, and the following one Wednesday, Jan.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $3.8 Billion in October

Body Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said last week that state sales tax revenue totaled $3.82 billion in October, 11.9 percent more than in October 2021. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.
