Body The first veteran to make a donation toward the establishment of a Motley County Veterans Memorial, to be located on the Courthouse Square in Matador, is Hal Dean Hines of Fort Collins, Colorado.Lt. Hines served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot during the Vietnam War.
