Body STAFF REPORTSWICHITA FALLS— Midwestern State University recognized 1,075 honor students for the fall 2025 semester. The President’s Honor Roll included 403 students, the Provost’s Honor Roll included 299 students and the Dean’s Honor Roll included 373 students.

Body May 1, 2025, marked five years of frozen fantasticness for Silver Snow, Silverton’s beloved snow-cone stand. Silver Snow is owned and operated by Beth Nickerson, who’s a schoolteacher at Silverton ISD and uses the stand as a source of income over the summer break.
