7th Street Pool launches $87,000 fundraising campaign for extensive renovation

SILVERTON— After over six decades of service, the 7th Street Pool needs a major renovation. The facility's board is seeking public support to fund the project.The pool, which has been a summer staple for Briscoe County residents for over 64 years, is in need of $87,000 for critical upgrades.

PADUCAH PICKUPS After severe storms wreaked damage across Paducah Sunday night, city and county crews were out cleaning up branches and debris across town. Some windows in the Cottle County courthouse were damaged as well.

In its regular monthly meeting in Memphis, Texas, June 9, 2025, Hall County commissioners approved a 75% property tax abatement agreement (in 10 separate annual phases) for a Lancium “Clean Campus” data center to be located south of Turkey, Texas.
