Body The Do Gooders’ Club’s sponsored Fall Bazaar held Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Flomot Community Center was declared a success. The concession stand with traditional taco soup was completely sold out. The 13 vendors were pleased with the good turnout and the profit they made.

Motley Co. in playoffs for 16th consecutive season

Body The Motley County Matadors bulldozed their way into their 16th consecutive playoffs with a decisive 64-16 victory Friday night over the Aspermont Hornets. They will face the Benjamin Mustangs in the bi-district playoff Friday, Nov. 11 in Benjamin.

Guthrie CSD surveying interest in 4-day week

Body A survey on the Guthrie School website is asking for GCSD parents to share their opinion on a possible four-day school week. Several area schools have gone to a four-day week, including Paducah, Motley County and Patton Springs.
