Body We girls did a lot of quilting Thursday and got to roll the quilt on both sides. After we got tired we went to the Ghost Horse Gallery for some good ice cream and to relax. But this will be the last ice cream they will make until next spring, so we did enjoy it more.

Body FOOTHILLS CELEBRATION Mason and the Gin Line will be one of the featured acts on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the FootHills Celebration in downtown Matador. The event brings back a tradition to downtown Matador of a festival with live music, food, shopping and raffles and giveaways.

Body The Motley County Matadors hosted the Spur Bulldogs for week three of the 2022 high schooll football preseason. Motley County started out strong in the first quarter by scoring the first touchdown of the game, followed by an extra point, making the score 8–0.

Body I had to leave my quilting group last week to go to the dentist, but they worked on my quilt without me. Thanks so much to them. Silverton lost a senior citizen, JoAnn McFall, who had been in bad health for a time.
