Motley County announces registration schedule for new year

Body Registration for Motley County ISD secondary students will be on August 10, 2021 in Room 109. Sophomores register from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., Juniors 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m., Seniors 10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m..

Body The Motley County Senior Citizens is open to serve meals inside or for carry out from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every weekday. Seating inside the center has been arranged to meet safety guidelines for dining 6 feet apart.

Body Local musicians Scarlett & the Silvertown Band will be playing for Our Lady of Loreto’s annual Jamaica in Silverton on Sunday, July 25. Live music for the event begins at 11:30 a.m. The band plays an eclectic mix of country and rock from the ’80s and ’90s.

Briscoe County sends notices of marks and brands renewal

Body Pursuant to Texas Agriculture Code 144.044 all Marks, Brands and Tattoos currently registered with the Briscoe County Clerk will expire on August 31, 2021. The renewal period for your Marks/Brands/ Tattoos is September 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022.
