Body The Paducah Dragons held onto their Class 1A D2 #10 position after traveling to Spur on Friday, Sept. 26, where they defeated the Bulldogs 65-16.The Dragons will have their Homecoming game this Friday, Oct 3, hosting the Knox City Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m.

Caprock Country XC teams compete in Lubbock

Body All the Caprock Country schools’ cross country teams travelled to compete in the Lubbock ISD Cross Country Invitational meet at Mae Simmons Park on Saturday, Sept. 27. In the Class 1A division, there were 97 boys and 152 girls competing.

Deer season opens for Owls on Thursday

Body The Silverton Owls will travel to White Deer on Thursday, Sept. 24, where all three Owl teams, junior high, junior varsity, varsity, will look to fill a deer-hunting tag against the Bucks. The JH game will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the JV at 6 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.
