Valley’s Jenkins to retire after 39-year career

Body How do you put into words the legacy of an educator the caliber of Mrs. Jackie Jenkins of Valley ISD? Jenkins recently announced her retirement after serving 37 years in education, 32 of those years having been served at Valley.
Silverton’s Maddie Francis, the school's only State-qualifying athlete this year, took 1st place in the girls 100m hurdles with a time of 14.79.
