We gals worked on a quilt for Carolyn that Calvin’s grandmother had pieced, and it is very pretty. Don’t know the name but it has larger print hexagons with smaller black blocks and yellow triangles. We are really having fun working on it.

In an effort to raise awareness and combat the alarming issue of child abuse, Mayor Lane Garvin of Silverton has officially declared April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in collaboration with Amarillo Area CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
