Body  The Guthrie Jaguars boys varsity basketball team had a tough go of things last week, falling to Valley 71-34 on Jan. 22 and losing Jan. 30 to Motley County 42-38. This week they face Paducah on Tuesday and Spur on Friday.

Body The Valley Patriots boys varsity basketball team is on a nine-game win streak and with an overall win-loss record of 20-3. They are leading District 8-1A with an undefeated record of 4-0. Last week, they defeated Guthrie 71-34 and Paducah 68-34.

Body The Paducah Dragons varsity boys basketball team defeated Spur Friday night, Jan. 30, 53-51. They were slated to play Guthrie on Tuesday and will face Motley County Feb. 10. The Paducah Lady Dragons girls varsity basketball team took a tough loss from Spur Jan. 30, 86-7.

Body The Silverton Owls boys varsity basketball team stopped the Kress Kangaroos, 41-39, at home on Jan. 22. The Owls haven’t had any issues with the Kangaroos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.Silverton’s victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
