Body by Joy Stodghill We girls finished Bobbye’s quilt, and I hope you could see it as it turned out so pretty. Wanda got hers put up and we got started on it, and looks like it will take a good while to finish but, it will be beautiful when finished.

Body Mark your calendars and rustle up an appetite for the Annual Motley County Friends of the Library “Rootin’ Tootin’ Beans and Cornbread” lunch and fundraiser. The event will be held Friday, Aug. 25, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Library Annex.

Body We vacationed in Homosassa, Florida for many years. It was a 13 hour drive from Birmingham, Alabama in 1953. Even when I was 13 and my sister, Anita was 8, we could not help but pester each other and keep asking when we’d get there.
