Body VALLEY BOYS IN PLAYOFF The Valley varsity boys basketball team won their home conference game against Hedley by a score of 78-51 Friday night. They finish the district season at 7-3, district runner-up to Silverton.

Body PLAYOFF BOUND The Paducah Dragons boys varsity basketball team split a pair of District 5-1A games last week, falling to Jayton 87-30Tuesday night and defeating Spur 46-33 Friday.The Dragons finished the season as the district runners-up and have earned a playoff spot.

Caprock Country teams in basketball playoffs

Body It’s high school basketball playoff season, and game details have been set for most area teams. Statewide finalists will play in San Antonio March 2–4 (girls) and March 9–11 (boys). The Caprock Courier will have girls bi-district playoff results next week.

Body Well, talk about a Winter Wonderland! We got 6 inches or more of snow without wind, and it was beautiful and rarely seen in this part of the country. My heart went out to the ranchers who had to drive and feed cattle and break ice on their water, been there and done that.

Body UNDEFEATED IN DISTRICT The Silverton boys varsity boys basketball team scored a pair of victories last week to remain undefeated in district 8-0. They prevailed over Valley 59-44 and White Deer 61-22.
