Body We girls spent another Thursday evening on our “give-away” quilt and having good fellowship. And we enjoyed the day more as the wind was not blowing very hard. It was a very good day for all.

Body The Silverton Lady Owls won the Area track meet Thursday in White Deer, and overall, Silverton advanced 22 from girls and boys track team to the Regional meet. Regional qualifiers included Melody Rampley, 1st in the girls 3200m and 4th in the 800m run.

Body Motley County competed at the District track meet last Thursday at Jayton, and nine tracksters advance to the Area meet in Petersburg April 20. In the 3200m, Paul Johannas and Trixie Hutchinson are advancing to Area. In the boys long jump, Ayden Roys advances to Area.

Paducah boys finish 3rd in District track meet

Body The Paducah Dragons finished at the District track meet in Jayton. Several personal best and top state times were made or matched. The top four in each event qualified for area. The Dragons finished 3rd place as a team, with 114 points.
