Quitaque Methodist sets Kids’ Day for July 9

Body All kids ages 3 through 12 are invited to attend Kids’ Day at the Quitaque First United Methodist Church, Saturday, July 9, 2022. A fun day is planned. The activities will begin at 10 a.m. and will be over at 1 p.m.

Body SILVERTON LIBRARY Captain Maggie and the Oceans of Fun puppet show at the Silverton Library provided lots of enjoyment for 26 children and 15 adults Monday afternoon. The Texas Commission of the Arts funds and provides this program free of charge to small Texas libraries.

Body Summer Reading launched Monday, June 6, at the Motley County Library with a sidewalk decorating project depicting this year’s theme, “Oceans of Possibilities.” Participants drew fish, turtles, jellyfish, rainbow fish and other sea creatures.
