Body This week has really flown by, and I don’t know where it went. I had to change my TV programming to DISH network, and I am really having a time getting adjusted to the change. I had to have help pushing some buttons.

Body Valley, Paducah and Guthrie seniors wound down their high school careers in a variety of ways. Valley FFA held its annual honors banquet. Valley also staged its senior play.

Body Overheard My dad, Benjamin P. Jordan, was a section foreman on the Missouri Pacific Railroad during World War II. He tried to enlst, but he was told his job was more important and essential to the war. We lived in Louisiana, near three army training bases and one air force base.

FRIENDSHIP QUILTERS

Body Yay, we girls finished Bobbye’s quilt Thursday and got one put up—the quilt for Rose Mary Perkins. It is another top with every block different, done sometime ago when every member did one or two blocks and gave her for a “friendship quilt.
