Body The Motley County Matadors extended their winning streak to 3–0 by profoundly beating the Bulldogs of Spur at Jones Stadium in Spur.

Body WEEK 3 Four out of five Caprock Country football squads prevailed this week. Silverton played spoiler at Guthrie’s Homecoming, defeating the Jags 46–18. Ranked #1 in D2 in the state Motley County rolled over #14 in the state D1 team, Spur, 66–20.

Groom comes from behind to beat Paducah

Body The Paducah Dragons quickly jumped to a lead versus the number-20-in-the-state Groom Tigers, and with 2:08 left in the game, the Dragons led 33–19. Then Groom showed how they earned their state ranking. They powered back with two quick touchdowns to regain the lead 34–33.
