Silverton girls end season at bi-district playoff

Body The Silverton Lady Owls varsity basketball team’s season has come to a close. They were defeated in the bi-district playoff Monday night by the Texline Lady Tornadoes who are 10-0 in their district and 21-11 on the season.

Motley boys defeat Spur

Body The Motley County Matadors boys varsity basketball team walked away with a 53-44 win over the Spur Bulldogs. The victory continues a trend for the Matadors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they’ve now won three in a row.Motley County’s win bumped their record up to 19-6.
