Body The Texas Six-Man Coaches Association (TSMCA) held its annual conference and all-star games at Wichita Falls on June 19 and 20.

Body  The Silverton boys finished the High Plains Team Camp 3-3 last weekend. They competed against some tough competition, learned a lot and got better every game.

LADY OWLS SUMMER CAMP

Body  Silverton varsity and junior high basketball girls had a great team camp last week. The varsity’s final record was 3-5 after defeating Sayre, Spearman and Cherokee.The high school lost to Canadian,Wheeler, Childress, Elk City and Leedey.

Body Among the most recent round of funding approvals from the Texas A&M Forest Service, the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department was awarded $25,000 for the purchase of fire and rescue equipment.
