Motley library to host free Medicare Education class March 28

Body STAFF REPORTS Library will host a free Medicare Education Class, Tuesday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Annex. This educational meeting will be conducted by a benefit advisor specializing in Medicare. Those attending can expect to better understand their Medicare benefits.

Boots O’Neal selected for Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

Body Hall of Fame honors those who have made significant contributions to the Western way of life, and Boots O’Neal of the 6666 Ranch was selected for 2023 induction.

Valley boys tie for 1st in Spur track meet; girls take 4th

Body boys took the top place the Spur Golden Relays Track meet, tying Lockney. Team points totals, from highest, were Lockney, with 106 and Valley, with 106 each; Motley County, with 91; Spur, with 74; KPA, with 55.

Disaster Assessment and Recovery Extension Agent named for Cottle County

Body with the Texas A&M Agrilife Cooperative Extension office in Cottle County, has been named District 3 Disaster Assessment and Recovery Extension Agent.

Body We girls finished my quilt, and it will be a part of my five-year old great granddaughter’s Christmas. We put up a quilt that we will sell chances on to give away next year. It is very, very pretty.
