Body Guthrie’s track teams competed last week in the Petersburg Relays as they prepare to head into district this week. Results included: Girls 4x400m (Jaydee Foster, Lynndee Foster, Mackenzie Gardner, Remington Long), 1st place.
GUTHRIE RODEO FINALISTS Hazen Lamb and Rylan Lamb have qualified for the Texas State Junior High and High School Rodeo Finals, which is not easy—as only 10 qualify from each region. Hazen competes in team roping while Rylan competes in calf roping, ribbon roping, goat tying, chute dogging and team roping. Junior high finals for Rylan will be held in Gonzales May 21-27; high school finals for Hazen will be held in Abilene June 4-10. | COURTESY PHOTO

Body Quilting went well last week, and we get to turn each end. We missed Caroline again this week, and we hope they’re okay. We break for mid-morning coffee and one of us brings cake or something to go with it. Yum! I heard at exercise that Dorothy Norris passed away.
