Guthrie names Wolf new superintendent

Body As of July 1, Guthrie Common School District will have a new superintendent. Steve Wolf, currently superintendent at Lazbuddie ISD, was named lone finalist April 12 and signed the superintendent’s contract May 3. His first day on the job will be July 1.

New farmers market to launch in Quitaque June 4

Body A group of volunteers started the Caprock Garden Club in August and then, according to organizer Christine Crockett Smith, it “morphed into a farmers’ market because of the need.” The Quitaque Farmers Market will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
