USDA’s Farm Service Agency accepting offers for state acres for Wildlife Enhancement Initiatives

United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA)FarmServiceAgency (FSA) is conducting signup for the Conservation Reserve Program’s (CRP) State Acres for Wildlife Enhancement (SAFE) Initiatives. Farmers and landowners in the Prairie SAFE Project area may be eligible to participate.

CORRECTION

In the Motley County ISD section of last week’s Letters to Santa, we lopped off thee end of the Fourth Grade section, omitting half of Zaylee’s letter and all of Jessica’s. Likewise, we omitted several letters from the Fifth Grade section of Valley ISD.

FRIENDSHIP QUILTERS

Yeah! We quilters did get Carolyn’s “Friendship” Quilt finished, and it is simply beautiful. She did such a good job putting the blocks together, and it really brought back memories when we saw the names of the gals that are no longer with us.
