Body Bob Wills Day organizers have announced the 2026 Bob Wills Day King and Queen.Congratulations go to King Kacen Thompson and Queen Lizbeth Cruz.Lizbeth is a senior at Valley ISD and plans to pursue a degree in pediatric nursing from West Texas A&M University after graduation.

Body “Turkey gets another Texas Historical Marker on Main Street!” posted parttime Turkey resident Mike Goldsby back in February. “I applied for this Historical Marker in 2023 and placed it next to the Bob Wills tour bus on Main Street today (Saturday 2/21/2026).
