Body CongratulationsgoBrennaFrancis and Maddie Francis of the Silverton Lady Owls basketball players named below for their accomplishments on the court during the 2024 season. They were among seven players named to UIL All-Region honors this season.

Players from Motley named to 2024 All-District boys team

Body Congratulations go to Motley Matadors basketball players Carlos Alanis, who were among players from District 1-A to have been recognized following the conclusion of the 202324 season.

Two from Guthrie named to 2024 All-District boys team

Body Congratulations go to two Guthrie Jaguars basketball players who were among players from District 1-A to have been recognized following the conclusion of the2023-24 season.

Valley’s Taylor named to 2024 roster

Body 2023-24 girls basketball squad named below for their accomplishments on the court during the 2024 season. Jaydan Bagwell, Reese Cruse, Anna Ferrel and Trinity Schlueter were among seven players named to UIL All-Region honors this season— the most from any school on the list.

Body March 7, 1990: Silverton, Valley players tapped for All-District Baksetball honors March 7, 1990 Langdon Reagan and Josh Brooks were winners of calves they caught in the calf scramble at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on February 24. . . .

FRIENDSHIP QUILTERS

Body Rose Mary got her quilt finished Thursday and it is very, very pretty with blocks of different Christmas designs on every block. It will surely be cherished by whoever gets it.There was excitement at the end of our street when there was an explosion at the mail carrier’s Jeep.
