BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPS The Silverton Owls varsity boys basketball team have claimed back-to-back District 2-1A championships. They finished district play last week at Groom, defeating the Tigers 41-24, to win sole possession of the district title. Their final district record was 9-1 and their only loss came to Valley. LADY OWLS FALL The Silverton Lady Owls took a tough loss at home to theValley Lady Patriots 48-29 lastTuesday night at home in a battle for the district title.
