Body LAST GAME The Motley County boys’ basketball team played their final game of the season last week, falling to the Jayton 71–26. The Jaybirds moved to 9–0 in district.

Motley crafters continue 50-year tradition

Body Motley County Arts and Crafts met on Monday, Feb. 7, at the Motley County Senior Citizens building. The group enjoyed a day of painting on cotton cup towels with crayons, following a design of each person’s choice.

Motley senior awarded scholarship

Body Andrew Stafford of Motley County ISD has been awarded a scholarship from Panhandle-Plains Higher Education Foundation – the Windmill Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded for the school year 2022–23 and is renewable for the next three years. Congratulations to Andrew!

Body Well, we got through another cold weather spell and snow. We didn’t get much moisture but we sure go the cold! We were so grateful that the pipes didn’t freeze and we didn’t lose our electricity.
