Body The number one team in the state in D1 six-man high school football lived up to their billing once more as the Motley County Matadors lassoed the Petersburg Buffaloes 72–0, bringing their season record to 6–0. A trio of seniors set the pace for Friday night’s win.

Body PADUCAH RUNS OUT OF TIME After leading for much of the game, the Paducah Dragons’ Homecoming victory was snatched from their grasp 57–65 by the state-ranked Anton Bulldogs. The Dragons will begin District play Friday night at 7:30 p.m. by hosting perennial rival Knox City.
