Guthrie Lady Jags win district opener versus Patton Springs

Body The Guthrie Lady Jags opened up district play with a 43–42 win against Patton Springs in Guthrie. Coulter Reel and Journey Johnson led the way with a combined nine points as the Lady Jags took a 23-14 lead at the half.

Body Lake Alan Henry GOOD. Water clear; 55-60 degrees; 3.69 feet low. Fishing at Alan Henry continues to be excellent. As the cold fronts roll through fishing will slow then pick up.. Bass are good using football head jigs and spoons off ledges in 30-40 feet of water.

Body CHILDRESS—The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) presented service awards on Wednesday, January 5 at the Childress District Headquarters. Gary Simpson, Kevin Urbanczyk, Jr. and Mark Rocha were all recognized for 20 years of service.
