The Motley County Senior Citizens is open to serve meals inside or for carry out from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every weekday. Seating inside the center has been arranged to meet safety guidelines for dining 6 feet apart. Meal delivery is also available for seniors in Matador and Roaring Springs.

Overheard My great-aunt had the remarkable name of Julianne, though we called her Aunt Julia. She lived in Charter Oak, Ohio, all of her 107 years. That side of my family, including my dad, Martin, were bilingual in English and German, even though they were all born in the United States.

We woke up Saturday morning to a surprise covering of snow that fell through the night. It was a wet snow and gave us a little moisture so we were very thankful for it, just wish it could have been more. I lost a dear cousin in Victoria recently and was sad that I could not be there.

BI-DISTRICT CHAMPS The Guthrie Lady Jaguars defeated the Petersburg Lady Buffs last week to win the bi-district crown. They advanced to the Area round of the playoffs. The Lady Jags came up short in the area round against a tough Whiteface team with a final score of 34 - 54.
