Body Yay, we girls got the “give-away” quilt done and out of the frames. We will get it hemmed next week and ready to take it to the First National Bank in Silverton so people can see it and buy chances on it. It really turned out pretty.

Body The Silverton boys and girls track teams competed at the Regional track meet Friday and Saturday at South Plains College in Levelland. Eight athletes qualified to compete the State track meet in Austin later this month.

Body Roaring Springs and Matador Lions Clubs have combined to form the Motley County Lions Club. At a joint meeting March 14 at the Matador Methodist Church, both clubs came together to discuss a merger.

Motley Co. advances 7 to Regional track

Body Motley County competed at the Area track meet last week at Petersburg, and seven tracksters advanced to the Regional meet April 27 and 28 at South Plains College in Levelland, which will determine who goes to State.
