Body The Paducah Lady Dragons competed at the Area track meet in Petersburg Thursday. The top four from each event will advance to the Regional track meet at South Plains College next Friday and Saturday; qualifiers at Regional go on to State.

Body The Silverton Lady Owls won the Area track meet Thursday in White Deer, and overall, Silverton advanced 22 from girls and boys track team to the Regional meet. Regional qualifiers included Melody Rampley, 1st in the girls 3200m and 4th in the 800m run.

Body Overheard The summer of 1938, my brother-in-law Avery, decided to take a challenge of managing a fishing resort. Glendevy was near the high mountain lakes close to the Colorado-Wyoming border. Avery asked my husband Elden and me to help him.
