Despite a concerted effort from Weatherford Christian on Sawyer Francis, the Silverton Owls still buried the Lions 59-12 on Thursday night in Benjamin. Francis, who had rushed for over 150 yards in each of the first three games of the season, found an opposing defense eyeing his every move.

We got Rose Mary’s quilt put up and started quilting on it. It has lots of pieces, and some looked pretty old. She said it was bought at a garage sale by her girls, and they were very glad to get something made by a neighbor. Carolyn got to join us and we are always glad to have her with us.
